Chinese School 2013 Fall Semester at UNCG 9/8,

The Greensboro Chinese School will open on Sunday September 8 for the Fall semester. Please note that we will meet in the brand new class rooms of the Education building of UNCG. The address of the building is list below and please pay attention to the parking information.

UNCG Parking Policy--- During the weekend, vehicles may park in Mclver Street or valid B/C/E surface parking free of charge. It is better not to use Parking deck since you need to pay in the express pay station near the exit in the second level parking floor. The 2013 fall semester of Chinese School will start at 1pm (1:00pm Registration ; 2:00pm Class Time) at Lobby of education building on Sunday 9/8/2013. Please fill in attached form for class registration and hand them to teachers of the corresponding classes. The detail information about Chinese school can be found in the following web link.

Again we are offering 8-grade Chinese Language classes, 2-grade Chinese as Second Language classes, and other cultural classes such as Martial Art, Dance, Tachi, and Math classes. Additionally the following new classes will be opened in this Fall to enrich the culture activities.

New Classes:

1. Craft (丝网花)

Instructor: Yan Zhu, 指导20-30种花卉的制作+胸花，发夹等饰品制作.

2. Art Activity (手工)

Instructor: Zhenzhen Tan will向孩子们介绍怎么DIY 贺卡，发夹；学会自己做折纸；剪纸；串珠；简单中国结；简易衍纸作品制作。在练习动手能力的同时，也能够享受手工的过程和乐趣.

3. TaiJi (太极)

Instructor:杨尚玄，出生于1992年。现就读于University of North Carolina at Greensboro。自幼喜好中国传统文化，17岁起于西安陈全忠太极学校跟随陈式太极拳第十二代传人陈西立大师学拳。习得陈氏太极老架一路、竞技太极。曾于2010年获得太极拳拳师资格证书。

4. Writing　（英文写作）

Instructor: Christine Du holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Pennsylvania State University, M.A. in English Linguistics from Fudan University and B.A. in English from Nanjing University. She was Assistant Professor in Nanjing University’s Dept. of College English from 1994-1996.

5. Singing　（唱歌）

Instructor: 于莉，一名不出自声乐科班的歌唱爱好者。愿意用自己的经历和经验，与喜欢唱歌的朋友们切磋，交流。
